Licensing and Content Assistant
The purpose of the role is to support the content and licensing manager in the production and delivery of a stable, well balanced, roadmap of mobile phone games.
This involves supporting and maintaining existing relationships with developers to produce the titles that C2M need plus initiating relationships with new partners and identifying opportunities within the market.
The individual will need to work with all departments to take games right through from an ideas stage, forecasting, development, and finally, production and publishing.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of stable roadmap of core titles for release
- Work with Sales and Marketing to understand overall demand for games and applications.
- Help manage the company’s current roster of developers and act as their spokesperson within the company
- Report on progress and performance in line with company requirements
- Identify and initiate contact with potential new developers
- Represent C2M where required at events, shows and conferences.
- Look out for and report back on market trends
- Work with finance to ensure timely reporting
- Communicate product potential to sales team and work with marketing to ensure best possible release to market
- Represent C2M to 3rd parties including licensors

Freemium and Mobile Games Product Manager
Connect2Media are a leading global publisher of video games on mobile devices. Its global reach requires the company to embrace new business models and technology as well as working in more traditional markets. As the market for games changes we are moving from a ‘premium’ (pay per download) model to a ‘freemium’ (free game with in built purchases) model.
We need an enthusiastic product manager who also loves, lives and breathes, marketing to help us drive a new catalogue of paid download and freemium mobile games. You will be responsible for working in parallel with the development team on building games from the outset, creating key events and data triggers in game and analyzing results and acting upon these to optimize monetization. You will be interpreting metrics and qualitative consumer behavior, adjusting variables and even game content on a daily basis. Your work will contribute to games currently being developed as well as new initiatives offering a real chance to shape product from concept, to market and beyond.
The role includes:
- To ‘own’ the product during its life from a marketing perspective running with our games from concept to launch and further iterations
- Define, measure and analyse KPIs via analytics dashboards
- Create and execute product marketing plans to engage, monetise and retain consumers including above the line campaigns and other engagement methods
- Devise new methods and ideas for in-game retailing, content and gameplay
- Brief various internal and external suppliers on supporting materials, projects and initiatives required to make your game prosper
- Contribute to game design and specification, supporting game designers with your comprehensive knowledge of the game’s metrics and current best practices in freemium gaming
- Use A/B, focus groups and multivariate testing methods to support data driven design
- Using social media channels to engage with consumers in innovative ways
- Report back meaningful data to product teams and management and act upon that data to optimize monetization within the game
Requirements
- At least two years of experience as a Product Manager in the gaming, social media, or on-line retail/consumer sectors
- Team worker who is willing to support their colleagues and do what is needed to deliver marketing to the entire portfolio of product if necessary
- A passion for metrics driven marketing
- Experience of managing digital projects from concept to delivery
- BA/BS degree (Graduate degree a plus)
- Experience of working within a structured new product development environment
- Have a creative mindset, as well as outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and reporting skills
- Ability to think intuitively from a user’s point of view but to balance intuition with data about user behavior
Additional skills (not mandatory)
- Knowledge of the games industry, particularly social and mobile games
- Good understanding of web technologies/social media measurement and tools
